RozziReviews

For now, most of these reviews will be about new
and old movies, video rentals, and websites. Later
on, if I feel like it, I'm going to review other stuff.
You will notice that most of these movies, if not
all, are rather outdated. I haven't had the desire
to go to the movies as of late. There are way too
many movies not worth spending even 50¢ to watch,
so I've avoided them until something that actually
looks interesting comes out.

Movie Rating System -
A+ - Awesome flick! It's a must see!
A - I liked it, it was good.
B - I can't decide. It had a lot of good points,
but it wasn't that great.
C - Not a favorite of mine because it kind
of sucked; maybe someone out there might like it.
F - I can't believe anyone spent money making
this movie. I do not recommend this movie.

Movies

SpiceWorld
- 1997 (yes I realize it is a little WIERD having
this as my first review, but I just had to say something
about it)
|
|
Rating: PG
Stars: The Spice Girls (Melanie Brown, Emma
Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, Geri Haliwell, Victoria
Addams), Richard E. Grant, Claire Rushbrook, and Roger
Moore
Brief Description: The UK's Spice Girls being
themselves...*cough*
What I Thought: To be honest, I was hoping
to watch this movie all the way through so that I
could at least make fun of it. What ended up happening
was that it became soooo boring and difficult to understand
(my ears aren't that attuned to hardcore British accents)
that I actually had to stop the movie. I was hoping
for maybe some really stupid jokes, or at least a
corny storyline. Instead, it seemed to be getting
nowhere, and there was nothing appealing about it,
that I just could not keep watching. This is one of
the extremely few movies that I've ever not watched
all the way through. I do not recommend this movie..even
if you are BEYOND bored. If you are a Spice Girls
fan, go for it...but even you might fall asleep, too.
I commend those that were able to watch the whole
thing without dying of boredom.
Movie Report Card: F (snore . . .)

The
Matrix - 1999
|
|
Rating: R (violence/language)
Stars: Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne
Moss
Brief Description: A computer hacker learns
from mysterious rebels about the true nature of his
reality and his role in the war against the controllers
of it.
What I Thought: This is a movie that I truly
regret not seeing in the theatres. I usually discount
movies that I see Keanu Reeves in, and this was mainly
the reason why I ignored this movie when it was out
in the theatres. We finally got up the nerve to rent
the movie and I ended up having to slap myself in
the face. It's an awesome movie. The idea behind it
is extremely original, and it doesn't have to use
lame tactics like pointless nudity, or excessive foul
language just to get an audience's attention. There
are a lot of sci-fi elements and plenty of action
(awesome fighting scenes). I don't want to give away
the whole plot, just watch the movie!
Movie Report Card: A+ (You have to see
it!!)
