Sagittarius ...woo hoo... half man,
half horse (The Centaur-Archer).
I found this on Excite.com
and I felt it really applied to me well.
"Sagittarians usually have
more than one objective or destination
that they are aiming for and prefer
to follow their own course unhampered
by any type of restrictions. You're
a dual sign with your feet on the ground
and your head angled toward the heavens."
Yep, yep... I am a big time dreamer...

(Man, I thought I was going to be the
only one to use my Kabalarians info
on my website..oh well!)
All I can say is...boy, it almost
perfectly describes me. I feel like
doing a commentary on it someday.
The name of Rosalyn has given you sensitivity
and appreciation for the finer and deeper
things in life. You can enjoy reading,
study, and contemplation about many
different subjects. When your interests
or curiosity are aroused, you work intensely
at new undertakings, but your interests
often wane when you encounter drudgery
and monotony, with the result that you
leave many things unfinished. Your name
has taken you into many bitter experiences.
The greatest lack in your life is stability
and peace of mind. A peaceful and quiet
environment, especially out in nature,
is one of your greatest desires, but
you are constantly taken into chaotic
conditions. Because you have high ideals
and are a principled person, you have
been disillusioned and disappointed
in people on many occasions and have
experienced much aloneness. You are
fond of outdoor sports, where you can
find an outlet for your nervous energy.
Impulsiveness could bring frequent accidents
and unfortunate happenings into your
life. You do not like to be restricted
or to have your freedom curtailed in
any way. You find it difficult to control
your thoughts and could swing in moods
from one extreme to the other. Your
speech can become very critical and
sarcastic when you are frustrated or
crossed. This name creates a weakness
in the heart, lungs, and bronchial organs,
and could cause heart trouble, pneumonia,
asthma, or tuberculosis. It also creates
tension in the nervous system, particularly
the solar plexus and stomach, causing
nervous indigestion and relative conditions.

Now...I've heard many different versions
of this. All I can say is that I am
primarily Vietnamese. My dad's dad was
Chinese though...so sometimes I consider
myself 75% Vietnamese & 25% Chinese.
Recently though, I found out from my
sister that we are like 1/16th Laos.
I would have never guessed that. I've
also heard rumors of a Russian or German
ancestor... but I just don't see how
that is possible.
Physique
- - - - - - -
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Hair - Constantly evolving shades
of brown or blackish brown, and sometimes
pink or red. Naturally it's black, but
I haven't left it uncolored or unprocessed
since I was 11 years old. It's usually
a little longer than shoulder length,
and I never seem to let it grow past
the bottom of my shoulder blades because
I lose my patience and have it chopped.
Eyes - Brown.
Tried green
contacts twice in my life now...and
I always end up wanting to go back to
brown.
Height - 5'7" taller than
both my parents, but my youngest sister,
Marilyn (age 15) is taller than ME.
Weight - More than I used to
weigh.
Attire - In the shape that I'm
in, I am limited to dressing like a
slob :P When I feel confident about
myself, I tend to dress a little racier
though. Geesh..you should have seen
the way I dressed at 17.
Best Physical Feature - It's
probably something most people don't
notice, but I've had a lot of compliments
on my hands. I've had women actually
pull my hand to them to take a look.
They're nothing special, I think it's
mainly because I was able to have natural
nails that didn't break so easily. *shrug*

Engaged to be
married to a guy named Chris! I'm very
happy being with him, and I love him
so much. He's taught me a lot and brought
a lot of joy and meaning to my life.
It feels great not to be a part of
a singles scene anymore. I have no regrets.
Meeting new guys just isn't fun...in
fact it was always nerve-wracking for
me....but hey..that's just me.
Hobbies/Interests/Addictions

Violin - I played the violin
since I was 10 years old. The moment
I first saw someone play a violin in
real life, I knew I had to play it.
I actually got pretty decent with it.
My best friend, Alina
and I were the top two violinists in
our junior high and high school. She
was usually first chair, and I would
be second.
Computers - I've been in front
of a computer-like devices since I was
a very young girl...maybe 5 or 6. My
dad introduced me to this electronic
world, and I was absolutely entertained
by it. I played on crusty old Apples,
a Commodore
64, some wierd thing he hooked up
to the television that had a flat key
keyboard, a 286 and then a 486. After
that, I had moved out and gotten my
own computers. I could talk all day
about my whole history of computer experience,
but to keep it short and simple, I basically
know how to use a PC, and I can figure
my way out of a problem usually. I don't
know any languages, and I'm still a
newbie to web design, even though I've
played with it on and off for like 4
years.
Shopping - What girl doesn't
like shopping? I get such a wonderful
superficial rush when I buy something.
In my mind, Since I was about 12, I
became very fashion conscious, resulting
in humongous credit card bills for my
mother. I remember in my freshman or
sophomore year, I saw these Gucci
shoes in a magazine ad, and I instantly
fell in love. I HAD to have them
no matter what. Well, for some ridiculous
reason, I went to the Gucci store at
Dallas' Galleria mall, and bought the
shoes with my mom's credit card--they
were $300! (six months later I bought
another pair of Gucci's for the same
price, don't know why) They weren't
the same color as the ones in the ad...they
were beige/tan and super comfy. I got
a lot of compliments on my shoes...even
from teachers at school. I wore them
soo much. Two years later, they ended
up being one of my dog Cassie's chew
toys (sad). These days, I'm very materialistic
mentally, but since I have to use my
own money, I don't go out and buy crazy
stuff like that anymore.
The Internet - Got my first
modem in '94... I was a cheapskate and
bought a 2400 baud modem which allowed
me access to some local BBSes. Soon
after I found my way to online services
and eventually the net. Been hooked
since... no need to explain more. =D
Everquest
- I don't know when I'll ever be
over this game, but for some reason
I hang onto it. It's a nice game to
play because there are so many other
people playing it at the same time.
You feel a small sense of cyber-accomplishment
when you get to a higher level. You
feel like you went shopping when you
get purchase or trade for new items.
A lot of people at work play it...and
it's something they talk about constantly.
I feel sorry for the people who don't
play it and just wouldn't understand
until they try it themselves. I think
I'll make a separate page for my EQ
stuff.
