As you can easily tell, this is not a commercial site and rather a personal site for myself, Rosalyn Khuu. I found that making a website is a good platform for expressing your creativity, talking about yourself, and voicing your opinions. I do not consider myself a writer or poet in any way, so try your best not to judge my style of writing. I just type what's on the top of my head, and try to make it understandable to most people. I don't write poetry or short stories; I lack the creativity and interest in it. That's why you'll probably never see any poems on my site. Besides, there are already plenty of personal sites out there that have poetry on them if you really like to read it.

The main focus of this site is to express my thoughts on many issues, and to also talk about myself and my life. If you think that sounds self-centered, you probably don't know what a personal site is all about.

You might be wondering, "What the heck does your domain name mean?!" Actually, it's quite simple....a few years ago, I used to chat on this Dallas/Fort Worth-based BBS called Chrysalis Online Services (which has finally been buried 6ft under), and there was this younger kid on there named Kevin Berry who one day called me Rozziland, and I thought...WOW! I haven't ever thought of that one. All my life my nicknames seemed to have been only restricted to Roz or Rozzie, and then when he said Rozziland, I thought it was very creative. So I'd like to give credit to Kevin Berry (wherever you are now) for this new version of my name!

What did I use to create this website?

on several occasions I use this because WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) programs don't always write HTML as efficiently as you can.

macromedia dreamweaver

It's probably one of the best WYSIWYG html editors out there. I used it to save me some time on some coding that I was too lazy to do by hand. some of you might cringe when you hear that someone used this type of program, but I say..."More power to ya!" if you wan some spare time in your life by not having to manually type everything tag by tag. What I also use Dreamweaver for is for the FTP, since it uploads most dependent files, so you don't have to hunt for all of them.

I love this program sometimes! It's helped me learn hwo to write my own html, and it's got so many little built in scripts to enhance your pages if you want. it's hardly as clunky as other programs that give you a real-time preview such as Hotdog.

jasc paint shop pro 7

since I'm too cheap to buy Adobe Photoshop for hundreds of $$$'s, all my graphics creations come from paint shop pro. I'm used to its interface and i like all the little effects and features that are built in. Plus, there is a large selection of plug-ins that are supported by PSP as well.

cute-ftp

sometimes i'd use this program to upload my page...it doesn't hang as much as Dreamweaver's ftp utility, so I use it if all I need to do is upload html files.
