Ahhhhhhh! Some relief!
So yesterday, we spent the day at Scarborough Faire, so that Grant's dad would get to enjoy his grandson... and man was it worth it! After it closed, we went to the annual cast party with Grant's mom and she pointed out a guy that does massages there and told me I should get in line to get one. Boy, am I glad I listened. I've been dying for a massage after the whole pregnancy and all the nursing and carrying the baby around I've been doing. I can't TELL you how in heaven I was... he did something where he picked me up by my locked arms and popped some vertebrae that were kind of all over the place and it felt great. He didn't know I just had a baby, so when he got to my lower back and noticed that one side of it was extremely knotted, he asked if I had a recent injury there, and I told him about the baby thing, and he was like... "Oh, that explains it! The baby was probably sitting RIGHT here and put a lot of tension on this side of your back. It's also why you were breathing with your chest more than your stomach." Anyhoo... I've had massages before, and they usually hurt and now I realize why. The ladies that did my massages had tiny bony fingers, which don't feel that good pressed into your back to work out knots. This guy was a big guy, with nice thick fingers, and rounded arms... nothing bony about him. It felt so good, and I felt GREAT afterwards. So...I think from now on, I'm going to get massages done by someone with that kind of build. :)
Btw... thank you very very much... very sweet of you :)
