Friday Five

1. How long have you had a weblog?
Since November 2000.... phew... almost 2 years already?

2. What was your first post about?
Everquest.... cuz I'm such a nerd sometimes.

3. How many changes (name, location, etc.) of your weblog have there been, if more than one?
Haven't really ever had a change of name or location for my blog... in fact... I don't really even have an official name for it.

4. What CMS (content management system) do you use? Do you like it or do you want to try something else?
Blogger... I've been MEANING to try others, but right now, my blog is not a top priority.

5. Do you read people who have both a journal and a weblog? Or do you prefer to read people who have all of their writing in one central place?
I don't mind either way... but of the sites I do read, most of the writers only have one page where they journal and blog in one spot.

Friday Five (sorry wasn't in town till today)

1. Where were you born?
Pennsylvania

2. If you still live there, where would you rather move to?
I don't still live there... but I'd love to live anywhere with good celtic music and plenty of green hills and water. (Like Ireland or Scotland)

3. Where in the world do you feel the safest?
In my lover's arms.

4. Do you feel you are well-traveled?
Not yet... but I plan on it.

5. Where is the most interesting place you've been?
What an ironic question being that I just came back from outta town. I'd say it's a toss-up between Washington, DC... and the town I just came back from, Branson, Missouri. Both have tons of points of interests. DC was fun to walk around and gave you a great sense of American history and pride, and had plenty of nicely constructed buildings. Branson... on the other hand, took my breath away with its natural beauty. Coming from such a flat place in Texas, you would not imagine how mindblowing it is to be completely surrounded by tall, beautiful, green hills, and 3 lakes, 1 of them I don't think I got to see... It felt very unreal being there.

Coldplay - Yellow

Look at the stars,
Look how they shine for you,
And everything you do,
Yeah, they were all yellow.
I came along,
I wrote a song for you,
And all the things you do,
And it was called 'Yellow.'
So then I took my turn,
Oh what a thing to have done,
And it was all 'Yellow.'
Your skin
Oh yeah, your skin and bones,
Turn into something beautiful,
You know, you know I love you so,
You know I love you so.
I swam across,
I jumped across for you,
Oh what a thing to do.
Cos you were all 'Yellow,'
I drew a line,
I drew a line for you,
Oh what a thing to do,
And it was all 'Yellow.'
Your skin,
Oh yeah your skin and bones,
Turn into something beautiful,
And you know for you,
I'd bleed myself dry for you,
I'd bleed myself dry.
It's true, look how they shine for you,
Look how they shine for you,
Look how they shine for,
Look how they shine for you,
Look how they shine for you,
Look how they shine.
Look at the stars,
Look how they shine for you,
And all the things that you do.

I feel bad I used to ignore this song... it's actually very sweet.
