Friday Five

1. What is your current occupation? Is this what you chose to be doing at this point in your life? Why or why not?
I am currently working as a systems analyst... yes, I had been aiming to get into an operations or NOC environment after my last job in the same area. I enjoy the atmosphere, and I like that it helps see the bigger picture as far as all the other departments in the company... that way I'd know where I'd want to go next.

2. If time/talent/money were no object, what would your dream occupation be?
There are so many things I would want to do for a job if money didn't matter... I'd be a photographer, a professional shopper and traveler, some kind of artist, a dancer, and a violinist..

3. What did/do your parents do for a living? Has this had any influence on your career choices?
My mom is in the semi-conductor field, and my dad is in microelectronics... even though I don't know a thing about what they do, I'd have to say that ever since I was a kid, my dad indirectly had an influence on my career choices. I knew I had to do something related to computers... I remember being a little girl and my dad taking us to different office buildings and electronic stores, and it made me feel so excited and yearn to stay in that environment.

4. Have you ever had to choose between having a career and having a family?
Nope, not yet.

5. In your opinion, what is the easiest job in the world? What is the hardest? Why?
Easiest job - A job you enjoy doing that pays sufficiently. Hardest job - any job you don't like to do and get paid peanuts for. Why? Use your common sense.
