I finally got to try my hand at the XBox on Christmas with my sister's boyfriend. I didn't think I'd ever get to touch one of these for another couple years heh. We played Dead or Alive 3 and a little bit of Halo (I think that was the name) which were two types of games. I sucked at both, naturally, but I think with a little bit of time and addiction I could learn to kick some butt. The graphics were very smooth and well done as expected, but I haven't tried anything else more recent than a Dreamcast before this so I couldn't compare it to similar systems. I think if I bought myself one of these, I'd never leave the house... Chris and I both. I could already see myself trying to get good at the games and spending hours and hours playing and exploring. Anyway, I liked it :) If I were to rate it, I'd give it a 4/5. :) I'd probably give it 5/5 if I could play EQ on a system like that somehow.

PARENTS: DON'T SUE A FREAKING SCHOOL FOR YOUR CHILD'S SUICIDE CAUSED BY PRESSURE FROM YOU AND THE REST OF THE WORLD. THE SCHOOL SYSTEM IS NOT NEARLY AS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR CHILD'S MENTAL/EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING AS YOU SHOULD BE.

DADDY BOUGHT ME A LEXUS!

There is a new Lexus commercial for Christmas where people surprise their loved one with a Lexus. First a woman says "oh look honey, the Millers got a new Lexus" and the husband holds up a key and says "no honey, it's your Lexus." Another one shows a kid by his telescope and says "look daddy" and when he looks through the telescope he sees a Lexus with a bow tied on it with a card that says 'to: dad'. I am fine with that, but what really bothers me is the last segment where a Mother and Father are at the table with their teenage daughter and the father says "we got you a CD player" and pulls the curtain away to reveal a brand new Lexus in the driveway. The teenager runs down to look at the car jumping up for joy. Now how realistic is this? I know some parents do buy their kids nice cars, but it's stuff like this that when I had asked my parents for a new car they were like "yeah sure" thinking I probably wanted a Porsche. I would have freaked with excitement and had a heart attack at 16 if my parents had gotten me a Ford Festiva. A Honda Civic and I would have felt like the luckiest damn kid on earth. Why couldn't Honda do an ad for Christmas time back then with parents surprising their kids with a nice little Honda Civic? It would seem more realistic and I am sure most parents would consider it rather than thinking their kid would want a Lexus and ultimately rolling their eyes and buying them a damn AMC Gremlin. Maybe have the kid say something like "thanks dad, now I won't have to worry about my car breaking down on my way to college next year" demonstrating how the reliability of a Honda would be a valuable asset for a kid on his way to becoming something and making the parents feel proud about what they just forked over dough for.
Psst... by the way, a brand new Lexus starts out at about $30 grand. At least they put in a decent engine in them. You either get a 6 or an 8 cylinder... not too bad.

I am 34% evil.

I could go either way. I have sinned quite a bit but I still have a bit of room for error. My life is a tug of war between good and evil.
Are you evil? find out at Hilowitz.com
