Thank you Amy!

Tonight/last night, Amy invited me over to help her bake a couple types of Martha Stewart recipe cookies. She seemed to be a total natural at this, but me being vaguely familiar with a kitchen... I had to reach into my "inner woman" in order to make sense of the simple recipe instructions.

Both types of cookies turned out fabulous! We're going to be bringing them to the DFWBlogs.com holiday dinner on Wednesday.. yum yum! I hope you guys like them!

Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you to Amy for making me feel like a real woman! I've never been in touch with the housewife inside of me before.. and cooking has certainly helped. Amy's far from a housewife though -- in fact she manages to balance being a fabo Unix geek at work and being a normal, down-to-earth woman at home. I aspire to become that. :) I think I let computers rule my home and work life way too much. Hmmmmm
