Fugly Cars

Sometimes I get the urge to take a gander at what other people call "transportation"... most of the time their cars are nice.. other times, I'd think the car was better off in a junkyard.

There's nothing truly wrong with ugly cars as long as their style does not outweigh their functionality. In fact, ugly cars have more character, and get more attention than your everyday decent looking car. Sometimes, I think people like to turn their cars into art, and I'm sure they don't really care what other people think of it. Another thing you have to realize is that modified cars aren't the only ones that can be ugly... some are born that way.

So if you are suddenly in the mood to check out some not-so-pretty cars, here are a few places to get started:



The Ugliest Cars in Britain - This site about 4 or 5 pages of goofy looking real cars and a few concept cars, including the gorgeous looking Ford Ka (pictured left).



MolestedCars.com - This one has a lot of categories of modified cars... from riced out to rusted out. Some people do the stupidest things to their cars!



Hunicutt's Ugly Cars Page - A handful of not so sexy cars. I wonder how long the designers/engineers of these cars had their jobs. Then again, you can always blame the owner of the car if they were the ones who screwed up the way the car looked.
