Eq Crap - If you don't play, it's all Greek to you
I finally have a new breastplate after wearing the same one for over 30 levels! (Yes, that's a LONG time)... I was formerly wearing a Bloodstained Tunic which carried me through my 20's and into lvl 55 just fine... but I was growing weary of how the red tunic looked on me. I looked like a newbie for too long. Finally, today I traded in my GEBs for a Froglok Scale Tunic and now instead of the same red top I always had on... I have this teal greenish top. It doesn't look great or anything, but at least it's different than before.

Oh, and I finally killed this high level wolf thing called the Black Dire that is part of my shaman epic quest (higher level class specific quests that grant you a super nice weapon at the end) with the help of a guildmate, and two other people in Mistmoore that happened to be there. Mistmoore is a place full of dark elves and gargoyles... I swear after the first time I went to that place I had a real nightmare about it. I was that scared. The way the NPC's are named also had to the fright. They have mobs like deathly ushers, ghoulish ancilles, dark sacrificers, soul seductresses, vampiric ancilles, shadowy scriveners, and other such mobs. It's usually a lower level zone (20-30's) but for some reason it was just us four in there today. Two level 55's, a 57 druid, and a 60 necro. Necros get some awesome pets.. it's almost unfair. Their pets are almost as good as having your very own personal monk/rogue. The Black Dire that we were trying to kill had some majorly high magic resist so I blew most of my mana just trying to lower its magic resist (ironically), and then slow its attack speed down. He hit in the 200's, but didn't have very many hit points. The only tank we had was the necro's pet and a 55 ranger. Amazingly, we killed it pretty fast without the help of a cleric or pure tank. I'm amazed.. and I'm also very happy because now I have completed another part of my epic quest. I can't wait to get that weapon... it's called the Spear of Fate, and it casts a 1500hp or so dmg DoT mana-free. I can't wait. Oh, while I was in Lesser Faydark today (a rather boring zone with some rather high level surprises inside) I came upon this:

Okay enough of the Everquest journals crap.. for now :O) Tata!
