Do you believe profiling computer users by their keyboard & mouse habits would be accurate? According to this article...

"Men like the tab key and tend to use the scrolling wheel on a mouse. Women move the mouse around more, even if a scroll wheel is available"

Personally, I am addicted to the scrolling wheel... in fact after I finally got a mouse that had one... when I'd be at work and have to use a normal mouse, I'd catch myself wanting to press down a scroll whell only to discover there wasn't one. It's a very useful tool. Maybe I'm just not typical of women computer users... or the users that have been analyzed already.

Of course, they're trying out this technology to improve on what advertisements (as if we really cared) are shown to specific audiences.

Do you think it's invading a little too much privacy for ISP's to do this even if they aren't collecting your identity information? I do... it's like being fingerprinted online. Sometimes I like a little anonymity online. Even if they couldn't tell if I was a girl or guy, I'm sure my keyboard & mouse habits are unique to me and could be somehow linked to me.
