The Happy People

I know this may sound like major stereotyping... but I think that Aussie's are just the most upbeat and positive bunch of people online! Of course, UK'ers and Canadians run a close second... but of all the weblogs and personal sites I read, Aussie's seem to be the friendliest, most carefree, and happiest people I've ever known to exist. I don't know if it's because society and living conditions in Australia are a lot less stressful, or if it's just one huge coincidence. Most Aussie blogs I read, even the ones by guys, seem to have an ever-so-slight appeal of eloquence in their writing styles. Their words are gentle, sometimes inspiring, and untainted by trashy street-talk and angst. There are of course, exceptions, but I am speaking of the majority here.

Reading Aussie sites almost makes me want to move to Australia. They seem to have things good there! I may be wrong for saying this, but I imagine Australia is like America but without the corruption and certain societal pressures.

Think about it, especially if you're a big-time blog reader...how many Aussie blogs out there are filled with "gangster-talk", "suicidal Goth talk", or "angsty teenage girl/guy talk" ??? Almost none, right???

Overall... if you're looking for a better perspective of life, or just want your spirits lifted a bit... your best bet is to head to your nearest Aussie weblog. I always feel so much happier and refreshed after reading them.
