Chris and I were driving around this morning around 5 in the morning so it was still dark and we saw some sort of little animal in the road so we slowed down the car. At first, to me it looked like a grey bird, and to Chris it looked like a mouse. It didn't move out of the way immediately so we scooted up the car a little more and then we saw it spread its wings and fly up into the trees... and that's when we could tell what type of animal it was -- a BAT! It was kinda freaky since the bat was across the street from our house.

After we got out of the car to go into the house, we could hear a ton of bats nearby.. screechy sounds and all. It was really amazing, but frightening at the same time.
