Boy, look what happens when you miss work for the past several days. I called up there a couple days ago to find out that they've dismantled most of our network operations center, and unplugged and shipped off most of the servers in our server room, and that my shift if pretty much gone now!

Sheesh... so they pulled the rug right from under me; my job is now no longer. So WOO HOO!!! that's awesome! And the best thing of all of it is I'm going to still get paid all the way until the end of April (for sitting at home and not working) and I'm still going to get my severance package + retention bonus stuff. Wow... now is the time to try to get ahead instead of blowing all my money... something I'm really good at. I think I'm going to relax a while and even take a much needed vacation... Disneyland perhaps? New Yor City, Bakersfield or San Francisco? Las Vegas again? I dunno.. there are many places I'd love to drop by right now...I just can't decide!

Well, if you start to notice my lack of updates... blame it on my lack of a high speed connection from home... that's the only reason I ever blogged so much at work. For some reason, having a dial-up connection makes it seem like such a tedious task when it comes to uploading a webpage or even using Blogger even though they do all the work. Maybe it's because I won't get to surf as quickly anymore. More than likely, I won't be ordering high speed internet from home since I'm probably going to be living here only another month and a half or so... so I don't think it'll be worth the trouble trying to get a connection like that hooked up amidst all that.

Anyway... back to my Sims game. Tata!
