On a similar note to Julie's small rant about being hit on in public which I started a little thread in her UBB about... I was going to mention a small pet peeve I've always had about being hit on online.
For some reason... I can't stand it when guys first talk to you and don't know whether or not you're in a relationship and they beat around the bush to find out. For example...
Instead of just SIMPLY ASKING "Do you have a boyfriend?"
They would say something like "So how long have you and you boyfriend been together?"
OR
"So what would your boyfriend think of it?"
OR
"So how old is your boyfriend?"
BAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I cringe even having to even type those words down. I think it's so stupid when guys try to ask questions like that so they can hear an answer like... "Well... I don't have a boyfriend".. or "My boyfriend is 18." and then realize that you never even brought up the fact you had a boyfriend. Why can't they just be upfront and ask the stinkin' question? Doesn't it just make a guy look 10x worse that he tried playing psyche games with you to find out information from you?
OK.. OK.... *breathe*... enough bitching.
