Chris and I were driving back from lunch (dinnertime for most folks) and on the way back we were talking about firefighting which doesn't happen as often as it used to.
As we were driving, right in the middle of our conversation we saw something on the other side of the freeway that caught our eye. Of all things, there was a wild car fire going nuts on the side of the road. It was pretty shocking since we hadn't seen one for a few years and it was a rather big coincidence since we were talking about fires in the first place.
On our side of the road there were like 5 cars that pulled over to the side to watch. From what I could see whoever was in the car wasn't anywhere outside of it so I feared that maybe the driver was still stuck inside. We flew by and decided to take the next exit and turn around. On our way back we finally saw a firetruck en route, and I felt relieved as we passed the flaming car again and now saw a man(hopefully the driver) standing behind the car about 100 ft away.
