Don't you just love it when you hear a song that makes you feel like you're tripping without really tripping? I had the pleasure of that tonight when I finally saw Traffic. It was the hip electronic music in the scene where Javier and Manolo were at some club/bar where they were going to capture "Franky Flowers" for General Salazar. The part that got my mind traveling was when Javier was up at the bar with Franky and lit up his cigarette or something...the music intensifies for a moment, and the filming seemed to slow down just right... The music went well with that scene for some reason. I found out that it's a piece by the ever-brilliant Fatboy Slim called Give the Po' Man a Break. I like everything but the vocal stuff, never been much into vocals unless it's a song by Lords of Acid or a Motown classic.
